What a way to start the week. The fourth of July my electricity was off from 3:55 PM to 1:15 Am. NICE. I read a big chunk of the Musician's Handbook which I will review in a future issue. Its pretty good. Who knew the drummer from Warrant was so literate? In the meantime my aircondition just cost me 160 bucks to fix, my refrigerator has started to leak (And DAMN those things are expensive). Tonight I get to record an organist, and hopefully have time to stop by my brothers for a dip in the pool now that Summer has arrived. No gigs this weekendm that sucks. I got the new logo and have been tweaking it. Eventually I will have jammindave.com shirts. I need to change the URL to someting that reflects the group.
I did find a cool site thanks to John Foxworthy of Garageradio.com its called lulu.com which I will showcase in my next issue.
I finally created a DVD. It took about 36 hours to make a 2 hour video (if you count all the troubleshooting). I capture it in one software, edit it another, and then create the DVD with yet another software package. I'm glad its so simple. . . . .
