After using Blogger for a little bit to comment on things, I've moved all of the musicians cooler to a blog. You can check it out at www.musicianscooler.com/currentissue/blog It's pretty cool. I have a book coming so I can become a powerblogger.

So my band may get to goto Japan and tour. Very cool. However we need a CD yesterday. So I'm going straight form work to Bens. All my recording stuff is over there, we got the drums down last night. Last night was getting the bass, and vocals so I could take the stuff home and record the gutiar and mix it. This would leave me one day to get ready for vacation on Friday.
Bobby slept thorugh his alarm. At wha point does someting become important enough for him to wake up? Now I'm so screwed. I need to do laundy, pack for florida, and TONIGHT we're going to finish recording, and I get to mix tomorrow. Hopefuly.

Man it has been a long time since I blogged. What a year. Bankruptcy, Divorce, and Forclosure. I'm in the process of moving in with my brother who will let me get back on my feet in 2005. However things are looking good for the Musicians Cooler. I am really pumped about the site and all the potential. I need to enter my thoughts here more I guess.

Spent some time looking for cool stage clothes on the net today trying to work on an article about getting a "look". Didn't come up empty, but it s a hard subject to research. I did find some cool t-shirts and such. I organized them into a section on the site. I've had some people coming to the site looking for clothes. At least now there is something. After writing to Mark Curran, I've decided to wait for the updated version of his book. Super nice guy. The one frustrating thing, is I had at one point, linked tothe audio files on the amazon.com site for sampled of Chris Duarte. They worked. Now when you click on them it launches the amazon.com SITE. Didn't really want that. I am waiting to publish the newsletter. My email list server is down. Figures. For once I'm ready to publish on time. As promised CDG came though. I can't stop listening to 101 off the new CD. I hope all my cred doesn't go out the window with this issue.

Just spent half a day looking over my CD Consignment guide. With the internet things change so fast. I have 19 sites lised, and one is apparently having issues, one now has LOTs of adult pop ups, and two are working deals to have CD baby take over the store. I've also found some cool new sites. I need to set up a form on the site so I can direct CD Consignment sites to the form, and let them enter the info. Then I'll go to the site and look it over, and decide to include or exclude their site. Still no info from Chris Duarte. I've got a small portion of the next issue done. I need ot get cracking on it as I hae gigs all weekend.

What a treat. Living in Ohio, the power went out Thursday afternoon, and didn't come back at my house till 2 AM Friday morning. Not so bad, some people had it much worse. As the reports come in, fingers are pointing at Cleveland as possible the source of the blackout (great cause now that we've got over the whole "burning river" icon....). Went to a "musician's picnic" on Sunday where about 20-30 different people from different bands just got together and jammed for the fun of it. It was lots of fun. We kept doing a bunch of I IV V blues. I like the blues, but I think if I was the bass player or drummer I would've had to shoot myself (how many shuffles can you do?). It was fun, and some of the folks were familiar with the Cyber Cooler, and I got some positive feedback. That was cool. The one guy really liked the last issue about logos (so much for my thoughts on it being weak). I've got to do some recording of an organist tonight for a wedding this weekend. That should be raw excitement.
